Welcome
Minutes were presented with no corrections and were approved.
Membership
40 paid members to date. It was requested that e-mails be sent out BCC

Hospitality
A card was sent to Mary Worhl her husband has passed away

Small Groups
General Quilting meets at 10:00 on the second Monday of the month
August 11th they will meet and Joan Nesbitt. Her address:

University place
Applique/Hand Quilting meets at 10:00 this Friday at Jan Janson
Her address:
8922 90th Ave Ct SW
Lakewood
They usually meet on the 2nd Friday of the month. Next months meeting is August 8th at the Lakewood Library Conference Room
Applique Group #2 meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at Trains Fabric shop from 10-12.
Long-arm/Machine Quilting meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:30. The next meeting is at Marcia Cramers. August 19th.
Raffle Quilt
$1260 worth of tickets have been sold. Carol and Rose are going to the Evergreen Quilters meeting to sell to their guild. Rose has a list of guilds that you can sign up to go and sell raffle tickets.
New Business
Thrivent has grant money to give out to local groups. The completion date is December 2014.They will reimburse our expenses. Irma has sent an application for $500-1000 to help purchase fabric for charity quilts. It was suggest to add the stuffed animals, bags, and pajamas that we make for Mary Bridge. Irma is going to modify our request to add the suggested items.
Audit
A suggestion was to suspend the required audit by a CPA for this year because of monetary reasons. A motion was made to suspend the audit by a CPA, seconded by Pat Ditter and the motion was passed. An independent audit by 3 members will be made this year. Marjorie Ritchey and ??? and ???volunteered to do an independent audit

The web site is out of date and Mary is going to look into the cost of having a professional manage our web site to keep it current.
Membership cards and name tags
Mary is updating the flyer and is considering going to black and white because of expense.
Sandy is working on making new membership cards and name tags
Hospice House sign-up sheet was passed around.
