February 2014 Meeting Minutes
QBTB held the regular meeting on February 26.President Mary Bradshaw welcomed QBTB Guild members and visitors.
Visitors included: Diana, Amy, Deborah, Peggy, Jane and Denise
One new member was welcomed: Deborah
Minutes from January were presented for any corrections and approval.
Vicki Gleason/Heather Stailey moved that the January minutes be approved.
Motion passed by voice vote.
Birthdays for February: Vicki Gleason
The following Guild members had February birthdays: Marcia Dyer, Pat Ditter, Jo Ellen Ramsey and Heather Stailey
PROGRAM: Erica Plank-"Unseen Hands"
Erica presented ideas for working embroidery into quilt making. She shared her patterns and work.
Treasurer's Report: $11,000+ including retreat money
Committee Reports:
Charity Quilt: Barbara will send Jan requirements for Charity Quilts to send out to members.
Retreats: Spring Retreat is all set. Information will soon be out.
Fall Retreat-Second payment is due-Contact Norma Jean is you have not paid.
Raffle Quilt-Raffle Quilt Tickets are $2.00. Everyone is expected to sell at least one book of tickets. See Pat Ditter or Joyce Walker for tickets.
Brown Bag Challenge-Mary Bradshaw reminded members that these quilts are due in June.
Small Groups-Sign-up sheets were set out for Guild Members to sign up if interested in
Hand Quilting, Applique, Long Arm Quilting and General Piecing
Pillow Cases-About 34 pillow cases were completed at a sew-in at Calico Threads for Sew Expo.
We thanked the Gig Harbor quilt group for bringing their raffle quilt to the QBTB meeting.

***Upcoming: StashFest-March 29 in La Conner. Email Mary Bradshaw if you are interested in going. We will be carpooling.
