Quilters by the Bay Meeting minutes - Wednesday June 24, 2009

Last month at our garage sale, Judy Scholes purchased some black and white batik. She laid it down 
on a table (happened to be the table with the "Free" sign.  When she went to pick it up it was gone.
She would really like to have this material back because she had paid for it.  To return it, please 
contact her.

Membership fees due: August 1.  As of tonight, we received 21 memberships paid.

Elections were held for the 2009-2010 officers - the winners are:

	President:  Mardell Buffington

	Vice President:  Norma Jean Nyman

	Secretary:  Marcia Cramer

	Treasurer: Sharon Maes

	Programs: Judy Scholes

Treasurers Report:  All bills paid, and bank statement balances with $2,597.53.

Fall Retreat is full and all fees paid

Pat Ditter reported that we have delivered 49 quilts to the Soldiers Home!  If you have any quilts 
that you are finishing up, please get them turned in this month.  Pat had several ideas for our next 
charity:

Hands On, Hospice House has asked us for bags for the resident’s walkers, and the Soldiers home 
would like for us to continue making quilts for them.

Block of the Month winner: Judie Bowie won the Northwind Block.

Pete Gaunce gave us his trunk show.  Beautiful quilts!!!
